Laser Digital Asset Management, a subsidiary of Nomura, has unveiled its Bitcoin Adoption Fund.

⌐◪-◪ → Japan’s largest bank, with over $500B in assets, is coming for your Bitcoin. This move doesn’t just unlock fresh capital from banks, mutual funds and pension funds, it should also bolster retail investors’ confidence in crypto. Overall, very bullish!

SEC sees temporary setback in request to access Binance.US software

The SEC has failed to convince a federal magistrate judge that it should be allowed immediate access to Binance.US's software and other documentation, marking its first partial setback in its ongoing case against the crypto exchange.

⌐◪-◪ → While the judge did ask the SEC to narrow its request for information, I fear this will be a short-lived victory for Binance. After all, they’re still being sued by the SEC for running an unlicensed securities exchange.

FTX sues Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents to recover millions of dollars

Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried allegedly "exploited their access and influence" within FTX, a court filing showed.

⌐◪-◪ → It looks like Sam’s parents used FTX funds to purchase a 30,000 square-foot luxury property in the Bahamas for $19M. Filings say neither parent contributed any of their own money to the purchase. Bye Bye Bahamas.
