⌐◪-◪ → Binance has reportedly seized Palestinian assets at the request of Israeli authorities, but the exact number of accounts affected is unclear.

Many headlines, including the tweet linked above, report that “all” Palestinian assets were seized; however, the CEO of Binance said only a limited number of accounts with ties to illicit funds were seized.

Sadly, because these funds/accounts are on a centralized exchange, there’s no way to verify either of these statements as they are commingled on-chain with the entire exchange’s assets and user base.

Naturally, I asked Ray Yousseff (the guy claiming all Palestinians were affected) and Richard Teng (the CEO of Binance) to provide evidence. Here’s my tweet — give it a retweet/reply to get their attention.

Politics aside, if I had to guess, the CEO of Binance is telling the truth, and only a limited number of accounts were affected.

⌐◪-◪ → TON (The Open Network) experienced a 6+ hour outage yesterday and didn’t produce a single block. Here’s their block explorer if you want to check.

Many speculated the outage was tied to Pavel Durov’s arrest; however, it appears the real root cause was network congestion from the distribution of DOGS tokens.

This outage is a stark reminder of the delicate balance between scalability, security, and decentralization — the ol’ blockchain trilemma.

Of all the weeks TON-coin could pull a Solana, they had to pick the week their creator was arrested in France. Lol.

Incredibly, despite being down 20% this week, TON is still a top 10 blockchain, above Cardano, Avalanche, and Chainlink.

The most suspicious part of all this was that nobody noticed TON was down for a solid 3+ hours, which begs the question…

⌐◪-◪ → Alright, so Donald Trump just dropped his 3rd NFT collection and I don’t even know what to say…

First of all, if you haven’t watched the promo video for his NFT drop, go watch it now. It legitimately looks/feels/sounds like an SNL skit.

Second, the collection has a potential supply of 360,000. At $99 per card, Trump stands to gross $35.6M. For context, the Trump campaign has raised $270M in total (between Jan 1 - July 31 this year).

Lastly, our favorite influencer ThreadGuy dropped $25k on 250 Trump NFTs, thinking he was guaranteed a dinner (interview) with Trump — turns out it was just a raffle ticket for a chance to meet Trump. Naturally, Polymarket already created a market for this.
