12/11/23: Rugged To The Moon 🎙️📈👀

⌐◪-◪ → You love to see it. What started off as a couple of degens on Twitter Spaces, has evolved into a leading web3 media company. Attention is the new digital oil, and Rug Radio has a phenomenal job capturing the attention of new and seasoned crypto users. I’m excited to see what ad-tech experiments/innovations Rug Radio + Decrypt dish up. Also, the Rug Radio house was pretty epic.

⌐◪-◪ → Seeing a leading TradFi institution like VanEck pay homage to crypto culture by selecting ‘HODL’ as the ticker for their upcoming Bitcoin ETF is proof that crypto culture has penetrated mainstream finance. I guess somebody at VanEck has been reading Specs and followed our advice on securing the ultimate Bitcoin ETF ticker.

⌐◪-◪ → Google has officially reversed their ban on crypto ads and will start allowing cryptocurrency coin trusts (ex. Grayscale) to advertise their products to the masses.

This might not seem like a big deal, but it is, as Google Ads will likely expand to other product and more importantly, inspire other advertising companies to start allowing crypto ads. Sheepish proliferation.

While this is definitely bulllish for crypto, it does presents an opportunity for scammers to drain wallets en masse - which means Google Ads needs to fully vet their customers.
