1. OpenSea Cayman Islands move sparks token airdrop speculation
BREAKING 🚨
There's a new OpenSea Foundation registered in the Cayman Islands.
You know what this means…

⌐◪-◪ → OpenSea token inbound.
OpenSea just registered a business entity in the Cayman Islands, which almost certainly signals they’re planning to issue a token.
Their CEO, Devin Finzer, hinted at a “platform comeback” in November alongside the launch of a waitlist website for “OpenSea V2”—their token will likely be at the center of this.
The big question is: What will an airdrop look like? How much will go to the community, and how will they determine eligibility?
If they pull this off, it could funnel a lot of money into the hands of NFT collectors and even trigger an NFT supercycle.
But if it goes poorly, it could be OpenSea’s final act—after years of community frustration over their various missteps.
Anyway, at this point I think it safe to say a token is confirmed. Earlier this month, their main account tweeted: “So, how long have you been using OpenSea?” — a not-so-subtle hint if you ask me.
2. Ubisoft integrates ENS into upcoming game Captain Laserhawk
Exciting news! 🎮
ENS enters the gaming world with its first-ever collaboration in gaming!
We've partnered with @Ubisoft to integrate ENS subnames into Captain Laserhawk Universe's unique ID card system. 🧵👇

⌐◪-◪ → 1 username to rule them all.
ENS just secured a massive win, partnering with Ubisoft to integrate ENS subnames into their upcoming game Captain Laserhawk.
Gamers will receive the Niji Warrior ID Card, a subname under edenonline.eth — 10,000 of which will be revealed through an “innovative” process on their website.
ENS subdomains are a creative way to give users unique identifiers under a shared namespace, a big improvement over faceless wallet addresses.
This could mark a paradigm shift in gaming, where blockchain usernames become the new industry standard. It feels like the golden-era of arcade games when leaderboard names were everything.
Honestly, this is one of the first web3 games that’s piqued my interest. Might have to lock in valko.edenonline.eth.
3. Binance hit with cease-and-desist over Peanut the Squirrel IP
🚨 JUST IN: Mark Longo, owner of Peanut the Squirrel, sues Binance over $PNUT listing, alleging unauthorized use of Peanut’s likeness. Demands IP removal by Dec. 31, 2024.

⌐◪-◪ → Binance is getting sued over a squirrel.
Mark Longo (@Squirrel_Dad12), the owner of Peanut the Squirrel, has issued a cease-and-desist to Binance, accusing them of IP infringement over their listing of the $PNUT meme coin.
Longo claims Binance’s use of his IP misleads users into thinking he’s backing the coin and is demanding its removal by December 31, 2024.
In his tweet, he made it clear this is just the first of multiple cease-and-desists—sending a warning to anyone using his IP without authorization.
The real question is, how will Binance respond? Whatever they do will set the tone for how the market and other exchanges react.
