⌐◪-◪ → I’m fascinated with Jack Dorsey’s character arc. After selling Twitter to Elon, Jack expressed regret over Twitter being a company instead of a decentralized protocol. Now, with a net worth of $4.1B, he’s fully commited to decentralization, perhaps in an effort to clear his conscious. His recent bet on decentralized bitcoin mining is much needed given the recent censoring and KYC issues with leading Bitcoin miners.
⌐◪-◪ → I do my best not to fuel the meme-coin-hype-train, but as an crypto + space nerd, this is pretty fucking awesome. The DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon was first announced by Elon in May 2021, and is making key regulatory progress towards its launch with a recent approval from the National Telecommuncations and Information Administration (NTIA). DOGE-1 is one of two doge-coin related missions planned in the coming months, paid for entirely with DOGE.
⌐◪-◪ → Just when you though the Blast situation couldn’t get any crazier, the brand new layer 2 network just surpassed Solana in TVL. This is pretty impressive considering Solana launched in 2020 and Blast is only 10 days old. At this rate, it won’t be long before Blast surpasses Avalanche’s TVL, which is currently at $650M. That is a whole lot of money locked up in seemingly insecure 3-of-5 multisig. It’ll be fine they said.
