11/24/23: SBF Is Now The Fish King 🐟🏁✅

⌐◪-◪ → Looks like SBF has found a new game to play, and its fish trading. Yes, that’s right, literal fish trading. After federal prisons banned cigarettes in 2004, fish has became the currency of choice - which Sam recently used to pay a fellow inmate for a haircut. I dont know what the going rate is (in fish) for a haircut these, but I reckon Sam has to pay 2-3x market rate for his notorious high volume hairdo.

⌐◪-◪ → The 2 leading Bitcoin miners are AntPool (27.85%) and Foundry USA (26.56%). Earlier this week, they collectively mined 63.2% of all Bitcoin blocks in a 24 hour span, with AntPool alone mining over one out of every three blocks (35.42%). As next year’s halvening approaches, the competition between Antpool and Foundry USA—aka China vs USA—is expected to intensify. It’s also important to note that both groups are fully KYC-only mining. Let’s just hope they don’t start censoring like F2Pool.

⌐◪-◪ → A court in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica, just approved Do Kwon’s extradition. The Terraform Labs founder, behind the infamous May 2022 Terra implosion, will serve a 4-month sentence in Montenegro before a final decision is made on whether he’s sent to the US or South Korea. I’m not sure which option is better for Do Kwon, but that is up to Montenegro’s Minister of Justice to decide. Love me a good jurisdictional battle.
