⌐◪-◪ → It’s official, Disney is coming to Web3. The $159B entertainment goliath just launched Disney Pinnacle, a new NFT platform they made in collaboration with Dapper Labs, the company behind NBA Top Shot. The platform is inspired by physical pins sold at Disney theme parks, which will now be NFTs on the Flow blockchain. So far, the platform has opened its waitlist. Are you bullish on NFTs yet?

Exit games for EVM validiums: the return of Plasma

⌐◪-◪ → In his new blog post, Vitalik says Plasma is underrated and that he thinks it can solve Ethereum’s scaling problems. More specifically, he believes recent imporvements in zero-knowledge proofs make Plasma more practical. Plasma was not popular in the past, but Vitalik thinks its worth reconsidering. I like how Vitalik names his blog posts like star wars movies → The Return of Plasma.

Tornado Cash users file appeal over judgment in favor of US Treasury

The plaintiffs in the lawsuit claimed in their appeal that the U.S. Treasury Department exceeded its authority in sanctioning Tornado Cash.

⌐◪-◪ → I really love seeing the people fight back against the man. Yesterday we saw 124,000 people send letters to the Treasury & IRS to protest proposed tax regulations, and today we’re seing crypto-natives fight for privacy by appealing the decision to sanction crypto mixers. Coinbase’s Chief Legal Officer showed his support in a twitter thread. This is definitely a case to watch.
