1. Harris promises crypto framework to protect Black men

⌐◪-◪ → Kamala’s campaign just bet big on crypto, but not in the way you’d think. Yesterday, her campaign announced her Opportunity Agenda for Black Men, which contains her most pro-crypto statement yet:
“Harris appreciates the ways in which new technologies can broaden access to banking and financial services.”
That’s great, but the problem is her plan doesn’t apply to everyone — it’s only for Black men:
“She will make sure owners of and investors in digital assets benefit from a regulatory framework so that Black men and others who participate in this market are protected.”
I’m not sure how I feel about this. The whole thing is reminiscent of race-based affirmative action, which was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
Furthermore, it doesn’t align with the crypto ethos of permissionless access, which is inherently blind to things like race, religion, sex, or financial status.
Also, unclear if her plan applies to just “Black men” or all Black people (regardless of sex), probably the latter, but who knows.
2. BlackRock CEO says Bitcoin could match US housing market

⌐◪-◪ → Larry is a Bitcoin bull. BlackRock’s CEO, Larry Finke, just said Bitcoin’s market cap could grow as large as the entire US housing market. For context:
Bitcoin market cap → $1.34T
Crypto market cap → $2.34T
US housing market cap → $50T
If he’s right, that means Bitcoin’s price would be $2.38M — crazy.
Meanwhile, BlackRock currently holds 369,640 Bitcoin worth $25.3B, which is equal to 1.76% of the total Bitcoin supply.
If this doesn’t make you bullish, I don’t know what will.
3. Google removes Bitcoin price charts from search results
why did google remove bitcoin’s price chart from its search results ???

⌐◪-◪ → What’s going on, eh? Google just removed Bitcoin and Ethereum price charts from their search results.
The weird thing is, a few things remain:
XRP and DOGE price charts (see tweet)
ENS searches still work (ex. vitalik.eth)
Not sure how to explain this, but it surely can’t be an accident. So far, Google has not replied to any requests for comment.
This comes as Google searches for the word “Bitcoin” hit the lowest level in a year — a rough barometer for public interest in crypto.
